DURHAM, NC (WNCN) – Two armed robberies were reported at two nearby businesses in Durham Tuesday afternoon, police said.
According to the Durham Police Department, officers responded shortly before 2:30 pm to an armed robbery.

One business is in the 1200 block of Cole Mill Road and the other is in the 3600 block of Hillsborough Road, according to Durham police. Police did not identify the businesses.
Since Tuesday afternoon, the police are present in the area and are looking for the suspect. These robberies are still under investigation and we have no further information.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by submitting a tip through the website or calling 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers is paying cash rewards of up to $2,000 for information leading to a criminal arrest.
