Three suspects broke into 14 vehicles in a Durham County parking lot, deputies said

DURHAM, NC (WNCN) – Three suspects are wanted in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries in Durham County, deputies said Wednesday.

According to the County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported just before 3:00 p.m. in a parking lot near NC 55 and TW Alexander Drive. 14 cars were broken into.

Deputies say the suspects used an unknown object to break the windows of parked vehicles. A gun and credit cards were among the items stolen from the vehicles.

Witnesses said the suspects fled the scene in a silver Kia with black rims and a loud exhaust, according to the sheriff’s office.
