DURHAM, NC (WNCN) – A pig was seen squealing with joy Wednesday after deputies found it wandering around Durham County.
In a social media post, the sheriff’s office made a surprising discovery near a Durham County elementary school.
“We are not sure if this little pig will sell, but he was found living upstairs near Mangum Elementary School in the Bahamas,” the post said.
Durham County Animal Services now wants to help him get home, as deputies are burying his owners.
“We will take good care of him in the brick house until the owner comes,” said the employee.
The deputies said that if no one wants him, the pig will be sold.
