Durham, NC (WNCN) – Durham police on Tuesday announced arrested on the ATMs in the last week ending this month.
There were seven armed criminals in various Fargo Atm in Durham from Durham from December 15 to Jan. 4, including two on Christmas day, according to Kurham Police Police Hall Relear.
Cases involved victims are robbed or knifepoint, police said. Police have not yet believed that herpanic ATM customers are targeted in crime.
Julio Geovanni Ortiz, 43, is facing seven cases of robbery, stories said.

Police said that the charges had been charged with the following armed in Wels Fargo ATM:
Dec. 15 – 2800 Block of Durham Chapel Hill Boulevard – Two men were robbed of two suspects, one with a knife and the other with a bat, after withdrawing money from ATM.
Dec. 25 – 2800 Block of Durham Chapel Hill Boulevard – A Spanic man in charge of the handgun tried to rob victim of Standi recently withdrawn from ATM.
Dec. 25 – 900 Block of W. Club Boulevard – Two man-looted by two suspects, who had a knife and another handful, had a cash withdrawal from ATM.
Dec. 28 – 900 block of W. Club Boulevard – Two Spanic man and woman were plundered by two suspects, with a knife and another handgun, after withdrawing money at ATM.
Jan. 2 – 900 block of W. Club Boulevard – A Spanic woman was robbed by one man Handgun after withdrawing money from ATM.
Jan. 2 2800 Block of Durham Chapel Hill Boulevard – Two man was robbed of two suspects, who had a knife and the other had contributed, after revoking the ATM.
Jan. 4 – 900 Block of W. Club Boulevard – One Spanic man was robbed of one suspect after withdrawing money from ATM.
“The investigators believe there are many suspects in this involvement in the plunder,” police said on the release.
This is not the first time Durham Police that Hispanics are targeted in the robber. Similar events occurred last year and 2023.
Ortiz was arrested on the same day as final stolen, police said.
