DURHAM, NC (WNCN) — Police say they are investigating after a man was found dead in the East Durham area Saturday morning.
Around 9:45 a.m., police received a “call for an operation” in the 800 block of Brye Street, which is Holloway Street near Miami Boulevard, according to a news release from the Durham Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found the man dead.
After one o’clock in the afternoon, the police said that the cause of the man’s death was not yet known.
“This is an active investigation,” officials said in a statement.
Police said they will release more information at the appropriate time.
