A man was shot and killed in an apartment Tuesday night in south Durham, police said

DURHAM, NC (WNCN) – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed at an apartment in south Durham, the department said.

According to their press release, police were called to a shooting around 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Roxboro Street near Cornwallis Road. When they arrived, the police said they found a man dead at the scene.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
